Captain, USAMC: BJ Hunnicutt, MD ~
Serial Number: US94539204

BJ Hunnicutt came to Korea 28 years old and fresh out of Residency in the September of 1952. He left behind a wife, Peg and a new born baby daughter, Erin in Mill Valley, Sanfranciso. Peg likes her icecream mushy, going for long walks in the rain and chinese food. BJ was born and raised in California.

Frank Burns and Margaret Houlihan were in command at the time of BJ's arrival. They planed on molding him in their image ... but boy were they badly dissapointed!
He arrived shortly after Henry's unfortunant death and not long before Colonel Potter's arrival.
When anyone asks what BJ stands for, he always tells them "Anything you want." Infact one episode, Hawkeye went mad trying to figure out what BJ stood for. He sent out telegrams to many of BJ's friends and came up with nothing. Finally he asks BJ "Who would name their kid BJ?" he replies "My mother, Bea Hunnicutt and my father Jay Hunnicutt.". Hawkeye didn't belive him though.
BJ is a family man, and is dedicated to his wife. He likes a good practical joke. He sticks by his principals and always trys to do the right thing, no matter what. He cares a lot about the people around him, and is dedicated to his work at the 4077th.

BJ was Trappers replacement, and became the new Swamp mate for Hawkeye.
He misses his wife and daughter very much, and spends quite some time moping around about it (but who can blame him?).
In Goodbye Farewell and Amen he refused to say goodbye to Hawkeye. He just couldn't bring himself to say it. So instead of saying it, he wrote it. As Hawkeyes chopper flew off, he saw BJ's note. Writen on the ground in stone was 'GOODBYE'.
~BJ: "What say ya Ferrit Face?"
