Colonel: Samule Flagg "The Wind" ~ Serial Number: I dunno ... does he even have one? Is he even in the army? Does he really exist? You can't help but ask insanely stupid questions when Flaggs around. Flaggs whole self is an un-opened book waiting to lunge off the shelf and whack you on the head!
Explaining Colonel Flagg ... now theres a task and a half. What we know over the years of watching Colonel Flagg appear and disappear is that he is lacking somthing up top.
Colonel Flagg first appeared in episode 2.24, "A Smattering of Intelligence". (Although Edward Winter, the person behind the character, did appear as Captain Halloran in episode 2.13, "Deal Me Out", he is most known for being Colonel Flagg in the M*A*S*H series.)
Colonel Flagg is part of Intellegence, just what intellegence he is talking about we are yet to see. In "A Smattering of Intellegence" he rocks up to the 4077th, supposedly injured in a helicopter crash. Shortly after Flaggs arrival, an agent Stone appears. With Flagg and Stone both under cover spying on each other and looking for who knows what in the camp, things can only get more confusing. We hear Flagg sending out a telegram through Radar ... "Mary had a little Lamb STOP My dog has Fleas STOP Maresey mares and dosey dotes and I'll be home for Christmas STOP signed Your loving son, Queen Victoria." And to make things wackier, he confesses to some that he is with the CIA, but he is really in the CID, but he only tells people that so they will think he is in the CIA.
Colonel Flagg is a lose cannon, he gladly self inflicts wounds to get his job done. He was a show girl in vegas for 6 weeks and has writen permission to die in order to complete a mission. Colonel Flagg is "The Wind" ... and thats where I'm leaving it. I told you it was hard to explain Colonel Flagg. Now I have a headache. "Over and Out!" ~Colonel Flagg: "Don't make me make you listen to this!"
