Henry comes from Bloomington Illinois. He has a wife Loraine (36, 24, 34 - Clear, soft, smooth, warm). 2 daughters, Molly and Janie. A son, Andrew and a dog. Andrew was born (7lbs 2 ounces, 21 inches) while Henry was in Korea, so he never met his son.

Henry likes to fish, hence the fishing hat. He is a sum what easy going person. You can get just about anything by him, and although he did not have a very big streak of authority running through him, he did a good job of commanding the 4077th.

In "Abyssina Henry" Henry herd the news from Radar that he was going home. He'd got all his points and was being discharged. Naturally he was excited. Trapper and Hawkeye bought him a nice suit for the special occasion, Klinger wore an extra wacky dress, Henry gave Radar his dads pen and kissed Margaret goodbye. It was all very sad. He told Radar that if he didn't behave himself he'd come back and kick his butt. As everyone cleared the chopper pad to see to the incoming wounded, Radar stayed behind, saluting Henrys chopper until it was out of site. When the episode first aired on March 18th 1975, no one expected the ending. Radar came into the OR with a message ... "I have a message. Lt Col Henry Blake's plane was shot down over the sea of Japan. It spun in, there weren't no survivors."
